For our second, and last evening at Tankardstown House Hotel, we chose from the À la Carte menu.
The following are some of the dishes which we enjoyed.
Edible Seashore – Octopus, seaweed, caviar, cauliflower “sand”
Crispy Pork Crackling “Popcorn”
Hake Fillet, on mashed potato, seaweeds, samphire, mussels & clams
“Coffee & Doughnuts” – Coffee Panna Cotta with Chocolate Bubbles. Doughnuts with 3 pipettes of sauce – milk chocolate, raspberry, and white chocolate.
“Rhubarb” – Compressed Rhubarb, rhubarb gel, rhubarb sorbet, chocolate soil, topped with meringue sheets
We were sorry to leave, the next morning, but as it is only a 30 minute drive away, we will certainly be back.
